Ability to use technology tools for instruction, student assessment, management, reporting purposes and communication with parents/guardians of students including, but not limited to, spreadsheets, web page development, digital video, the Internet, and email.

In these lessons, I was able to carry out instruction and student projects with the use of technological tools. The management and assessment of these student-focused projects was aided with the use of customized rubrics. The rubrics that were used to evaluate and grade the students' work product are below.

A separate set of rubrics were created to determine if the students were able to meet the desired objectives and if the integration of technology was effective and appropriate for this project. This way the student's proficiency of technology, not the actual work product, could be fairly evaluated and assessed. These rubrics are below.

Communicating with parents and students about the outcome of this project was carried out as with all other graded items by using our school-wide online reporting system called iNow. Parents and students have 24 hour a day access to their grades and comments that address any issues pertaining to the student or grades.
